Secure your high profile lobby in an elegant fashion, without causing lineups. Add extra security and peace of mind with retractable barriers.
Barriers should make a site safer.
And PathMinder's do. With up to 96 safety beams (to stop the barriers from closing on an object or person in their path), torque sensors, and optional edge-mounted pinch sensors, PathMinder's optical turnstiles with barriers offer the highest security without compromising safety. We've done everything we can to make sure that barriers never close on a child or guide dog in tow.
Barriers should actually stop people.
And that includes people who try to crawl under them. PathMinder's optical turnstile technology has beams at different heights to defeat someone who tries to sneak under our angel wing barriers. Our low and tall sliding door barriers are only a few inches off the ground, eliminating the possibility entirely.
Barriers shouldn't cause lineups.
Ours don't. Each lane can handle at least 30 people per minute. In the real world. We even have video to prove it.
Barriers shouldn't make life difficult for people in wheelchairs or with guide dogs.
Each optical turnstile we make has been tested with wheelchairs and seeing-eye dogs. And we've designed our units with accessibility in mind from the start: all lanes meet the ADA accessibility requirements (when spaced 36" apart), so people with extra needs don't need to use a special lane or swing gate. We call that real universal accessibilty.
